Tryout Information

2017 Tryouts are the week of January 16, 2017

Boys Soccer Informational Meeting
Thur 10/11/17 at 7pm in AHS Cafeteria.

Location: 
Check-in:  report to the auxiliary gym (side entrance of band building) 
Tryouts:  AHS Stadium

Tryout Schedule
Please bring your own water.  You must attend all 4 tryout sessions.
Mon 1/16/17-  8:30 check-in, 2 tryout sessions: 9-11am and 1-3pm
Tue 1/17/17-   4pm-6pm
Wed 1/18/17-  4pm-6pm

Proposed Teams
There will be Varsity & Jr. Varsity teams, with a combined total of 35-40 players.
Players will be selected on Wednesday evening and rosters will be posted outside of Coach Boyd’s and Coach Romero’s rooms.  After a few practices, the boys will be split into Varsity and Jr. Varsity teams.

Estimated Costs (subject to change)
$200  -Alpharetta High School Soccer fee (offset fees by volunteering at Verizon Amphitheater.) 
$250  -Soccer Booster Club fee
$100 – Volunteer fee  (Eliminate fee by volunteering for board or committee position, or a minimum of 4 full concession stand shifts.  Subject to change.)

To be eligible for tryouts, you must…

1) Complete Privit registration and
2) Upload current physical (<1 year old) and insurance card.  

Your online status must be listed as “Cleared” prior to tryout day.

Practices
-Begin the day after tryouts.
-Monday-Friday from 4pm-6pm.  Practices are mandatory.
-Wearing shin guards is required.
-Each week, practices alternate from AHS to Milton Center fields.
