Cross Country, Countdown to State

The Raiders cross country team traveled to Gainesville for the Coach Wood Invitational, which tends to be the most competitive meet in Georgia. The girls varsity competed in the Championship race, placing 11th. On Saturday, the Raiders traveled to Douglasville for the very competitive Asics Invitational with teams coming from as far as Kentucky. Cross County Wins Big Again

On Saturday, the highly ranked Raiders XC team participated in the Mizuno Covered Bridge Invitational in Roswell. Competing against over 20 teams including every team in the Region except Pope HS. ALPHARETTA, Ga. — The Alpharetta High School cross-country team recently traveled to Douglas County to compete in the Atlanta Classic. With 12 teams competing, the boys varsity took home a trophy as they placed second behind Milton, who is a top 3 team in the state and beat a couple of ranked teams as well.
