Alpharetta fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-0 loss to Cambridge on Wednesday.
Cambridge got things started in the first inning when Fleming homered on a 1-0 count, scoring four runs.
Casey Young earned the victory on the hill for Cambridge. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out seven. Rosenbaum and Nick Dato entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Charlie Goldstein took the loss for Alpharetta. He lasted four and a third innings, allowing five hits and five runs while striking out eight.
Cambridge tallied two home runs on the day. Rech went yard in the fifth inning. Fleming went deep in the first inning.
Rowlinson went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead the Raiders in hits.
Cambridge racked up eight hits in the game. Rech and Todd all had multiple hits for Cambridge.
