Raiders snagged a late lead and defeated Northview 4-2 on Monday. The game was tied at two with Alpharetta batting in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored two runs for Alpharetta.
Northview got things moving in the first inning, when Anish Yennam drew a walk, scoring one run.
The Raiders knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the fourth inning. Christian Hazelrig’s sac fly scored one run and Chris Burgett scored on a past ball.
Ajinkya Gundaria was the winning pitche. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three.
Beau Lark took the loss for Northview. He allowed two hits and two runs over one inning, striking out one and walking zero.
