Alpharetta Raiders Can’t Hold Up Against North Atlanta
Alpharetta Raiders couldn’t keep up with North Atlanta and fell 10-1 on Tuesday.
North Atlanta captured the lead in the second inning. C Goldstein walked Wiley Hartley with the bases loaded to drive in a run.
Alpharetta evened things up at one in the top of the third inning scoring one run when Evan Moore singled with one out.
North Atlanta took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Hartley singled off of Goldstein, driving in one run and Jack Ferguson singled off of Goldstein, driving in one run.
North Atlanta scored seven runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for North Atlanta came thanks to a double by Hayden Dwyer, a error, a single by Ferguson, a error, and a single by Chandler Coleman.
Tyler Isreal earned the win for North Atlanta. He went five innings, surrendering one run, five hits, striking out two, and walking one. Goldstein took the loss for Alpharetta Raiders. He pitched four innings, surrendering three runs, nine hits, and striking out three.
Moore went 2-for-4 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in.
North Atlanta collected 15 hits. Riley Levitt, Ferguson, Dwyer, William Fowler, and Brett Roberts each collected multiple hits for North Atlanta. North Atlanta was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Donovan Dismuke had the most chances in the field with six.
