Game Day Volunteer Descriptions

All Game Day volunteers are requested to arrive 40-45 minutes prior to game time with exception of Player Meal volunteers. So for all 5:55PM games, please arrive no later than 5:15PM. Please note that all times listed are GAME TIMES, so plan accordingly.

In addition to volunteering for multiple Game Day slots, each family is requested to sign up for at minimum one to two games in the concession stand.

Announcer – This person is responsible for player/ coach  introductions at the start of the game, games announcements (sponsors, concession specials, etc. )

Music –  This person is responsible for playing player walk up songs as well as other music before and during the game.

Scoreboard – This person is responsible for  keeping the scoreboard current ( balls,  strikes, runs, inning, score, hits, errors)

Griller – This person is responsible for cooking the food (e.g.  burgers and hot dogs) for concession.   Instructions re: quantity to cook can be found inside the concession stand ( mounted on the walls).  NOTE:  We would like to have food available prior to the start of the game so that patrons can take their meal to their seat upon arrival.

Player Meals – Meet at concession stand around 3:15pm to assemble player meals prior to home and away games. May need to pick up entree at local Chick Fil A or Zaxby’s.  Purchase fruit like clementine’s or bananas to add to meal. The player meal coordinator will provide all pertinent information prior the volunteer duty.

Concession –  These people are responsible for selling snacks, drinks and food.   Operational procedures can be found inside the concession stand ( mounted  on the walls).

Programs – Edit and print game day programs with both team’s rosters. No reimbursement for copies.
