Game Recap

Lead by Juju Maduka’s double double, the Lady Raiders moved into sole possession of 2nd place in Class 6A, Region 7 standings with a 10-2 record, defeating the Lady Centennial Knights by a score of 42-32. The Lady Raiders jumped out to a 10 point lead at the end of the 1st half that they held through the remainder of the game. Juju delivered 15 points and 14 rebounds in another strong effort, partnering with sister, Gogo, who pulled down 7 rebounds, helping Alpharetta own the paint on both ends of the court against a tenacious Lady Knight front court.

Jalyn Tillerson’s 9 points and 5 rebounds paced the strong guard play, with Croix Bethune and Chandler Davis each contributing 8 points and 3 boards each. Gogo Maduka and Taylor Hood added 2 points each to round out scoring for the Lady Raiders.

The Lady Raiders close out a busy week with their 3rd game in 5 days this Saturday against the Lady Bears at Cambridge High School. Junior Varsity plays at 11:30, and Varsity takes the court at 2:30.
